Urbino is a wholly mountain town of 14.927 inhabitants, located 485 meters above sea level in the Province of Pesaro Urbino, its territory covers an area of 226,50 sq km.
Urbino is a city of 15.341 inhabitants (2006) in the Marche region, the capital (along with Pesaro) in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino. 1998 from its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage.
Home to one of the most important universities of Europe, has a historic center surrounded by high walls.
Very well known and visited is the Palazzo Ducale, one of the most interesting architectural and artistic examples of the entire Italian Renaissance and is home to the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, characteristic for the torricini that surround the rear.
La Raphael House It is located in the street at number 57. Here you can admire a fresco of his youth, as well as the rooms and furnishings of the house where he lived the famous painter.

For Urbino there is also the school where Giovanni Pascoli studied until the age of 12 years.
